Commemorative Gift Fund
A gift to the St. Clare's Hospital Foundation will touch the hearts of
family members and friends whose birthdays, anniversaries, and other
celebrations have been recognized in such a generous and meaningful
way. Gifts of any amount are welcomed and may be made by individuals,
employee groups, business and organizations. Memorial Gifts in
remembrance of deceased loved ones, colleagues or neighbors, are an
equally distinctive way to acknowledge life and hope for the future
generations.
A lovely card is promptly sent by the Foundation to the person being
honored or, in the case of a memorial gift, to the family of the
deceased. No references to the size of the gift is ever made, only the
donor's name and that of the honoree will be imprinted on the
acknowledgement. Each donor receives a letter of appreciation from the
foundation's president which can be used for tax purposes.

Stepping Stones
Since its inception, St. Clare’s Hospital has been the fortunate
beneficiary of a generous community: Gifts, large and small help St.
Clare’s acquire state-of-the-art technology, build new facilities and
provide a broad array of services for people from all walks of life.
In its efforts to encourage charitable contributions of $250 or more,
St. Clare’s Hospital Foundation invites interested donors to
participate in Stepping Stones, a permanent inscription program.
Each Stepping Stone gift of at least $250 is recognized with a
six-by-six brick paving stone, personalized with a three-line message
including the donor’s name or that of an honoree. The stone is then
incorporated into the garden walkway adjacent to St. Clare’s Surgical
Center. This beautiful garden serves as a quiet haven and meditation
area for patients, their family members and hospital staff.
Take this opportunity to make a gift of substance - as a meaningful
tribute or memorial to someone special and to enhance the quality of
life and health in our community. All Stepping Stones contributions
become part of the foundation’s annual campaign fund and are used for
the common good of the people served by St. Clare’s Hospital.
