Family Medicine Residency
and
Osteopathic Internship Program
In 1977, St.
Clare's Hospital established the first family practice
residency program in northeastern New York and has been
building upon its success ever since. In 1992, an
osteopathic internship was developed and is fully
approved by the American Osteopathic Association. A
newly constructed medical arts building, the Cushing
Center, houses both the residency and internship
programs and their associated training facility, the
Family Health Center.

Dental Residency Program
The one-year residency in general dentistry was
established at St. Clare’s Hospital in 1975 under the
leadership of the late Dominick J. DeLuke, DDS. Since
its inception, the residency has served as both a
productive training program and a valuable community
resource. The collective experience of its graduates has
resulted in the program’s widely acknowledged reputation
for clinical and educational excellence. |
