The Spirit of Healing Award was established in 1995 by St. Clare’s Hospital to honor outstanding members of the medical and dental staff and community leaders for their respective contributions to health care excellence.

The honorees are recognized for enhancing the quality of life in our community through the delivery of health care services, education, advocacy and leadership.

The award has been named Spirit of Healing in affirmation of St. Clare’s commitment to both the physical and spiritual needs of patients.

Symbolic of St. Clare’s healing tradition and its mission to alleviate pain and suffering, the Spirit of Healing award is presented to each honoree in the form of a dove – beautifully cast in bronze atop a personally inscribed nameplate.
